Our main network server is backed-up daily and has instant recovery capabilities. In the last year, we have upgraded our computers, converted our document management program, installed desktop faxes, and upgraded our computerized docketing software.

We have also transitioned to a “paperless” law firm. We maintain electronic files for virtually all of our cases, making all case materials, pleadings, correspondence, documents, etc., available to our attorneys at the click of a mouse. Through the metaframe server, our attorneys and support staff have complete access to the computer network from home or while traveling, and can communicate via e-mail, share resources, exchange documents, and have access to various on-line commercial and legal databases such as Westlaw.

Meyer Hendricks has made particular efforts to adapt emerging technologies to litigation support. We have found that a by-product of the technological evolution of law practice is that organizational storage, retrieval and graphics techniques that were once only feasible in large and/or complex cases are now adaptable to, and economically practical in virtually all litigation matters. We have invested considerable time, effort and resources in creating a set of integrated computer-based tools that are genuine aids to our analysis and presentation.

Our attorneys and paralegals are skilled at using various types of software including those for litigation management, image retrieval, deposition and trial transcripts storage and retrieval, and trial presentation. Through our internal video-editing capabilities and other applications, we are able to produce sophisticated presentations for use in trial or ADR proceedings at a relatively low cost.
